Grid Enhancing Technologies (GETs) Summit hosted by the WATT Coalition
This inaugural WATT event on May 23 will feature presentations and panel discussions focused on grid challenges driven by the energy transition and solutions offered by optimizing existing grid assets. The conference will also provide an overview of policies and regulations intended to integrate and accelerate GETs adoption. Germany's Amprion and Smart Wires have successfully tested modular power flow control technology
German utility Amprion and Smart Wires have successfully completed a pilot test on the use of innovative technology for optimization of grid loading. As a result of the one-and-a-half-year cooperation, Amprion has found that there are no technical reservations regarding the use of SmartValve™ on the German power grid.
