Greg Tibbitts leads all corporate finance initiatives at Smart Wires.
Greg has more than 30 years of professional finance experience with rapidly growing technology companies. He has played key roles in major transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, corporate partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.
He has also had significant involvement in all aspects of private equity and venture-backed technology companies in the areas of finance, strategic planning, commercial operations, manufacturing, accounting and administration.
Prior to Smart Wires, Greg worked as Chief Financial Officer of Accriva Diagnostics, a medical technology company in the field of cardiac diagnostics. He had a pivotal role in the company’s complete turn-around and transformation. Greg also worked as Chief Financial Officer of Accumetrics, before the company merged with ITC in August 2013 to form Accriva Diagnostics.
Other previous roles include Chief Financial Officer for CryoCor, Inc., a publicly-traded medical device company, where he was involved with multiple financings and strategic transactions, including its Initial Public Offering and the purchase of CryoCor by Boston Scientific; Chief Financial Officer of Elitra Pharmaceuticals; and as an auditor and Senior Audit Manager with Ernst & Young.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego and received an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
