Chief Financial Officer
Greg Tibbitts is responsible for leading all corporate finance initiatives at Smart Wires. Greg brings over 28 years of professional finance experience with rapidly growing technology companies, playing key roles in major transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, corporate partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.
He has had significant involvement in all aspects of private equity and venture-backed technology companies in the areas of finance, strategic planning, commercial operations, manufacturing, accounting and administration.
Prior to Smart Wires, Greg worked as Chief Financial Officer of Accriva Diagnostics, a medical technology company in the field of cardiac diagnostics. He played a key role in a complete turn-around and transformation of the company. He also worked as Chief Financial Officer of Accumetrics before the company merged with ITC in August 2013 to form Accriva Diagnostics.
Before joining Accumetrics in 2009, Greg was the Chief Financial Officer for CryoCor, Inc., a publicly-traded medical device company. While at CryoCor, he was involved with multiple financings and strategic transactions, including its Initial Public Offering, and the purchase of CryoCor by Boston Scientific. Greg also worked as Chief Financial Officer of Elitra Pharmaceuticals, from 2000-2004, and as an auditor with Ernst & Young from 1989-2000, most recently as Senior Audit Manager.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego and received an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
